Officer Involved Shooting Leaves Man Dead In New Jersey: AG

The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating a police-involved shooting that left a citizen dead on Saturday, Oct. 19, the office said.

The incident occurred in Browns Mills in Pemberton Township (Burlington County), the AG's office said Sunday morning, Oct. 20.

The man's identity was not being released as of press time. A firearm was recovered near his body, the office said.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.
